I love the bed, fits super nice, sturdy, no problems with installation. People that say it creak have it either too close to the baseboards/wall or they did not tightened the screws well. “As far as quality goes, it absolutely exceeded expectations. It’s just pine, but still heavy and very sturdily made. No squeaks or wobbles. All pieces, including slats, seem solid. Wasn’t difficult to put together and all parts including spares were included. Another reason we chose this over similar platform beds was the headboard height. Many platform beds have such a low headboard that after you put pillows on, you can’t even see it. “The bed was ridiculously easy to put together. This company knows how to make simple directions and I appreciate that they even added the tools we needed. The bed itself is fantastic! It’s sturdy and the perfect height for my 6 year old son (we didn’t put a box spring under it so it would be lower). The only negative we have (but not worth losing a star) is that there is a small chip in the headboard. We are able to cover it with pillowed so it’s not a big deal.
