“These are beautiful, highest quality stools at an amazing price. The stool’s legs are solid wood, finished satin smooth with a nice pecan color. The seats swivel easily but with enough tension that you don’t move inadvertently. The seats are quite comfortable and are finished in a neutral oatmeal linen look fabric. The crossbars are best installed with a power screwdriver as the screws do not have pre-drilled holes to go into. That will be the only additional tool you need.While I had problems with two of the stools I ordered (one arrived broken and another was defective), the U.S.-based customer service was outstanding. They were easily reached by phone, replaced the stools quickly, called me to make sure the replacements were in good condition, and sent me a box of Godiva chocolates on ice as an apology.
