“This is a beautiful floor lamp for a great price. I searched high and low for a contemporary, brass floor lamp like this and this was the most affordable one I could find. It was easy to assemble and is pretty good quality. I dropped a star for 2 reasons: the first is that, as others have mentioned, the lamp shade does have a noticeable velcro strip where the two ends of the lamp shade come together. I have this part of the lamp facing the wall so its not a big deal for me, but it does take away from the sophistication of the piece. The second reason I dropped a star was because I feel like the lamp can sometimes look a bit crooked and I feel the need to adjust the legs a bit to get it looking level and whatnot.
