“I had this chair in my wishlist for awhile, but was undecided on whether the comfort or quality would work for me. Then I saw it at a retail store for $199, sat in it and checked it out thoroughly — and bought it on Amazon (for $117). I think the quality is good — it appears to be constructed from very sturdy bent plywood. I’m not sure if it has a wood veneer or a paper on top of the plywood, but we haven’t nicked or scratched it yet. The height is right for our teak desk, the two finishes look fine together, imo, and even though the seat is firm, it and the back support are comfortable for sitting in for longish periods of time. “Love how easily to assemble was, it does not take much space, it is very comfortable, gives enough support at the thoracic level, it has minor details on the wood, (discoloration/perhaps quality ) but it is not noticeable since they are under the seat, only spotted one in the exterior (minimal/like a small dot) which I covered with marker for furniture, for the price and all qualities described it met all my expectations.
